cycling through Pavenham

Cycling in and around Pavenham.
As some of you may know i was lookin for a mans bike, i now have one.
For a while we was without a car so had to cycle to the Oakley post office for milk etc.
I enjoyed it so much that i now ride on a fairly daily basis, im losing weight and slowly improving my fitness.
I have upgraded my bike a little fitting thinner tires 28x700 instead of 35x700, re greased the wheel bearings and fitted a bike computer.
The bike has also been on a diet, i removed the rack and mudguards and anything else that is not needed.
The computer comes in handy recording speed and clocks how many miles per ride, and also total mileage.
I have found it very handy to pace my rides, as i often would get tired too quickly.
I have also bought myself a decent bike pump with a pressure gauge, no more soft tires.
I ride alone at quite a slow pace and now venture through Stevington, Oakley and Felmersham.

As i get lighter and fitter im hoping to venture further a field, as there is some very nice rides around this area.
Im 49 now so feel the need to get into some sort of shape. http://cyclinginbedfordshire.blogspot.com
