I never saw this happen, but I was told this car lost control. Another car also lost control, and shunted this car up onto the wall. Luckily no one was on the path at the time. Pavenham village Newsletter no49. Its good to se yet another reminder to not park on the pavement. These people will be the first to moan if they get a ticket, please think of people who need to walk through the village in the dark. Walking in the road because some thaughtless person, has parked on the pavement dont sit right with me or anyone else. Moving on from that topic, onto the othe important issue. The people speed through the village, and whats being done about it. According to the newsletter its all down to money, yet again more delays. I hope that is soon resolved and we actually se something done. I wish the people in charge of that the best of luck. I was unaware of the war memorial problem, but glad to se that its being looked at. I did like the free warm home pack, its nice to se people thinking of the elderly. The letter did have christmass 2012, but merry christmas message. So i will say it myself merry christmas every one. From a Pavenham village resident.

Pavenham village speed restrictions

Sorry this is a bit late but, its nice to se the 40mph limit increased a bit. Having a 70mph speed limit right next to a childrens playground never did make sence to me. We have had a letter about there being some sort of speed inforcement in the village, to actually se something happening about it would be very nice. As some motorists come past long row heading towards Bromham, its put your pedal to the metal time. Try living in somewhere like Derwent cottages, with a bind turning to emerge from. Not to mention the high speed merchant that comes into the village at break neck speed at 2 or 3 am. Average speed cameras through the village would stop that im sure. All of the surrounding villages have something, even if its one of them signs that lights up if you do over the limit. As usual its all about money.

Pavenham neighbourhood watch

Hi having recently installed cctv on our property, im wondering if its worth letting the local neighbourhood watch know.
I know for a fact there are a few of us that have cctv, maybe if we let the powers to be that we have it.
At least we could all look at our recorded images to se if there was anything unusual worth noting.
Of course we would need a date to do a search on.
Just worth a thaught...
I may contact john , the village co ordinator and put it to him.
I can be contacted via email on joyboy@hushmail.me
