Pavenham village power cut

Pavenham latest power cut.
Well this one lasted nearly 8 hours, i believe Carlton Okley and Risely were effected.
We have a generator and this time was really put through its paces boiling about ten kettle s full for both us and the neighbours for tea coffe etc.
It is harder for the elderly, please remember that for next time.
A knock on the door and quick is there anything you need is the least we can do.

Pavenham open garden day

The pavenham open garden day is on 13/6/2010.
We wont be entering our garden but look foreward to seing everyone elses.
UPDATE
The pavenham open garden day looked to go well, unfortunatly i was unable to have a nose around.
My other half has been taken quite poorly, if you have any pictures/ info on how much was raised for cancer research i would gladly put it on this Pavenham blog..

pavenham stray cat

Hi all as most of you will know there is a stray tom in the village, there is a trap down for him but as yet he has not been caught. As far as i know the stray cat has now gone, with any luck he was rehomed by someone. Well its been over a year since ive seen the stray cat, lets hope he had a happy ending. I did the deed tonight and went to the village hall and voted, im not normally into voting but did my bit tonight.

Today was the day when we could all get rid of those house hold items too big for the dustbin, fridges old chairs etc.
I noticed a few bikes being thrown away and thaught , you know what i could do with a bike to take the dogs out with.
I didnt have the cheek to ask for one , so if you live in or around pavenham and have an unwanted mans bike please let me know on here.

power cut in pavenham

Hi all if you live in Pavenham you will know all about the power cuts here.
What a pain they are and all too often of late.
We have now started to run our generator more and more, so much so that we are going to buy a bigger one.
Im not sure where pavenham gets its electricity from , probably from a hampster running around its wheel with a dynamo on it.
I would like to know who complain to, but gone are the days of blaming eastern electricity.
Nowdays there are so many suppliers eon etc.
Roll on the summber and dont forget that you an write to this blog yourself if you wish.
